A 4,000 year old gold necklace is found in a dumpster in Dublin....
I wrote a fiction story for 10 - 12-year olds to young teens called "Treasures of the Bog" about the necklace / gold collar or lunula - small moon....

Lazaretto, Immigration station in Philadelphia - 1799 - 1893
Opened after yellow fever epidemics occured in Philadelphia...
Between the 1870s and 1915, tens of thousands of primarily eastern and southern European immigrants disembarked at Washington Avenue piers from steamships departing from ports in Britain, France, Germany, Holland, and Italy. Those who stayed settled in the nearby waterfront neighborhoods like Southwark, Moyamensing, Northern Liberties, Port Richmond, and Kensington that offered available jobs and affordable housing. But thousands of other boarded Pennsylvania Railroad trains to Pittsburgh, Chicago, and beyond.
Started docking in 1873, but docked first at Lazaretto; Penn Railway Station receives the increasing number of immigrants. 1870 -1915 thousands take the railroad for Pittsburg, Chicago and further....

Writing for 10+, Riddle of.....
I took Josie to a writing class - after explaining how to develop characters, we were given two squares of paper and to write a noun on each one. I wrote bee keeper and janitor, Josie doctor and horse. I received back teenage girl and girl, Josie - pilot and astronaut. We had 20 minutes to start writing. Tousled hair flying in the wind, the teenage girl ran down the beach, long limbs flashing in the moonlight. Lights from the bungalows sprayed their glow on the hill above her. A dog dashed out of the dark, his fur rippling, as he took a stance in front of her. She stopped and drew a breath, and looking at the dog, debated her next move. "Rango, where are you?", a voice on the ridge called. The teenager returned with, "He is down here." A little girl of about 8 years of age appeared.....
